(LifeSiteNews) – Monday’s mass shooting at a Christian elementary school in Tennessee by a “transgender” assailant has renewed focus on an announcement earlier this month for a planned “day of vengeance” event by a group that has promoted firearms training for LGBT activists.
Yesterday, 28-year-old Audrey Hale, a woman who identifies as male, shot and killed three children and three adults in the Covenant School, a Presbyterian private school in Nashville, before being fatally shot by police responders. Hale, a former Covenant student, was a “lone zealot” with a “manifesto” laying out her “resentment” of the school, according to Nashville police chief John Drake.
The attack sparked fierce debate online over whether Hale’s actions were more due to so-called “anti-trans stigma” or the mental toll of gender dysphoria and heated rhetoric likening opponents of underage “transitions” to Nazis and other villains.

The trouble is, all of the radical left wing protesters TRAN is inciting to take action this weekend only understand Webster’s definition of vengeance, and that will govern their actions. Even TRAN, in having a specific plan for a specific day, is adhering to Webster’s definition. There is a huge difference between getting mugged and fighting back with vehemence, and conspiring with a large group to plan, in detail, a specific time and place for revenge. They want more than acceptance and visibility. They want vengeance. Audrey Hale just showed them what real vengeance looks like. She didn’t stop at buying a can of spray paint and vandalizing a church. She went the distance. She escalated. And she likely believed she had the tacit approval of like-minded LGBTQ+ people because of all their rhetoric.
I want to compare TRAN’s desire to exact revenge for a perceived injury to Christ’s. Jesus taught that if someone strikes us, we are to offer them the other cheek. I can tell you, that is really difficult. If a thief demands our coat, we are to give him our shirt as well. We are to forgive our enemies and love our neighbors as ourselves. We are to pray for them. Then He accepted His Cross and did just that. These are no easy tasks. Every human being struggles with anger, hurt, and a desire to lash out… even when we are in the wrong. For 350 years after Christ was crucified, Christians were hunted, persecuted, and murdered. They were subject to real genocide, not an imaginary genocide that the trans community has made up out of whole cloth. Yet they managed to endure, not with vengeance, but with the Peace of Christ.
Right now, I am confident that many Christians are angry with the radical wing of the LGBTQ+ community for their increasingly vile behavior in recent years. Hedonism (the belief self-pleasure is the sole good in life), nihilism (the denial there are any objective truths, especially moral truths), and relativism (the theory that knowledge is relative to the limited nature of the mind and conditions of knowing, and a view that ethical truths depend on the individuals and groups holding them) are inherently destructive to society. Yet, do you see Christians organizing Days of Revenge? Are we hunting down and murdering the gender queer with systematic efficiency? No, there is no genocide… deaths in the trans community are exclusively self-inflicted… suicides. Instead, we are praying for them. God made and infinitely loves every person on earth. There are no exceptions. While I am praying for the children, families, community, and staff of Covenant School, I am also praying for Audrey Hale and her family. In another crackdown on religious freedom, authorities in an eastern Chinese city ordered parents to sign a pledge that affirms they are not religious.

There are six conservative states that are anti-life and friendly to abortion services. Their average number of attacks per 10 million in population is 14.4.
There are four liberal states that actually are pro-life. They are the purple states, the states that have the most accusations of voter fraud; Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. They are pro-life and their average number of attacks per 10 million in population is 8.1.
There are twenty-one states, including the District of Columbia, that are Blue strongholds, and their median number of attacks per 10 million in population is 8.3.
Nine states had no attacks at all, four Red and five Blue.
When you look at these numbers, it seems that there is no correlation between they way the general population votes and anti-Catholic acts of violence. This is likely due the differences in rural versus metropolitan populations. Oregon and Washington are good examples. Once you leave the Seattle metro area and the Portland metro area, Washington and Oregon are very Red states.

States that are generally considered pro-life only had 97 churches violated. States that are pro-death had 200 attacks. Add in that 34% of all attacks occurred in nine left-wing cities in states that are very abortion friendly: New York City 25, Los Angeles metro area 13, Denver 12, San Francisco Bay Area 11, Washington DC 10, Boston 10, Portland Metro area 9, Seattle 7, Chicago 6, and you see a trend. Extreme leftist radicals like Antifa and Jane’s Revenge, feel emboldened to attack Catholics in Blue cities and Blue states because Blue law enforcement gives them a pass.

The Jews, such as Saul become Paul, persecuted the Jesus People. The Romans killed them. The historian Tacitus, not a Christian, said that Nero had the believers “torn by dogs, nailed to crosses, . . . even used as human torches to illumine his gardens at night.” What were the chances that this new cult that believed they ate His flesh and drank His blood, would last any longer than any other fringe cult?
Yet in 90AD, about 60 years after the Ascension of the Lord, the Gospel of John, comprised of the aging John’s memories as well as the testimony of many eye witnesses, was largely completed and made this bold prophesy. While Jesus is speaking to the pharisees he tells them parable of The Good Shepherd. They did not understand what He was saying, so He spoke again, spelling everything out. He is the Shepherd, the flock is his alone, and the pharisees were nothing but thieves. It was an outrageous claim. More outrageous, Jesus goes on to say:
“And there are other sheep I have that are not of this fold, and these I have to lead as well. They too will listen to my voice, and there will be only one flock, and one shepherd.”
What a ridiculous prophesy, right? How on earth could He make such a plain speaking and bold prophesy? Prophesies are supposed to be vague and convoluted. How could one man, who would shortly be sentenced to hang on the Cross by Pontius Pilate, speak to men, women, and children thousands of miles away, spread across the four corners of the globe? People who had not even been born. Impossible! He had to be mad, or the person who wrote that in the Gospel of John had to be mad. What were the chances of that prophesy coming to pass?
I have actually been watching this story since it broke. It took a few weeks for it to ferment into a complete story, so I waited.
With Christianity declining in western civilization, there will be a natural increase in people who despise being ‘victimized’ by the moral teachings of Christ. When I say ‘victimized,’ I do not mean real victimization, like getting beaten by a mob of Antifa thugs. I mean Christian morality bothers the conscience of those who live lives antithetical to those morals. Our marriages, our families, our faith, the fact that we consider real freedom is to behave as we ought instead of behaving any way we want, pricks their conscience. Mid Vermont Christian is a very small, division 4, K-12 school in White River Junction, Vermont. On February 20th Mid Vermont Christian women’s basketball team opted to forfeit their state playoff game against the Long Trail Mountain Lions because they have a biological male on their team. He is the tallest member of the team and a starter.
I have since watched video of both the Long Trail men’s and women’s teams. I felt a profound, uncomfortable sense of sadness watching this young man play. This awkward, slender boy, who is the starting post player on the women’s varsity squad, would not have made even the junior varsity on the boys side. Nevertheless, he gets to play varsity ball and is going to get his varsity letter in basketball. He might even get a letterman’s jacket and proudly walk the hallways of his school… yet no matter how this is framed by the NeoLiberal Left, it will always be a hollow achievement for this young man.
You are not going to find his photo, at least not easily, on the internet, nor any stats. That is a good thing. Fame is the last thing this young man needs. While this situation is wrong, I can’t help but feel he is a victim of the society around him, a society that is also victimizing the young women on his team and those he competes against.
Mid Vermont Christian made the difficult decision to forfeit their first round, state playoff game against the Long Trail team. At 14-6 going into the game, Long Trail was clearly a better team than the 5-12 Mid Vermont Christian team. LT handily beat all of the common opponents that defeated MVCS. As weak a player as Long Trail’s biologically male center is, his height in the post would have given his team a distinct advantage over the much shorter MVCS team. An unfair advantage, actually.
“We believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players. Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports sets a bad precedent for the future of women’s sports in general,” school administrator Vicky Fogg explained.
It did not take much courage for Mid Vermont Christian School to stand fast with Christ and accept the inevitable persecution that would result. At least not when compared to the courage expressed in two millennia of Christian martyrs. Standing up for our faith should be as natural as breathing. Yet many Christian schools, like Ontario’s St. Joseph’s, folded and denied Christ with only the slightest secular pressure. Many Christian denominations have also folded with minimal social pressure. Even in the Catholic Church, Germany appears to be heading towards a schism with Rome, and Canada may be next.
So much for living up to our Abrahamic roots. So much for being willing to carry our own Cross when it comes time. It is a testament to how weak our faith has become in the 21st Century. No matter what we tell ourselves, we do not dictate to God. We are not in charge. Christ is in charge, and He does not bend or change the Word to entice us from walking away from Him no matter how much He loves us. Jesus cannot be plied, bribed, cajoled, or threatened into making exceptions. There is no Heavenly two-tiered judicial system as exists here.
MVCS is appealing the cancellation. I pray they do not fold in order to get back in the good graces of these popular, woke bullies. I never liked the popular bullies. Luckily for me, most of the popular bullies from my childhood eventually grew up to become good people. I do not think that will be the case with the Vermont Principal’s Association.
President Joe Biden criticized Florida’s regulation of transgender medical care for children and ban on gender ideology in the classroom.
Biden said in an interview with Daily Show guest host Kal Penn: “What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, close to sinful. I mean it’s just terrible what they’re doing.”
Sinful? Did faithful Catholic, Joe Biden, just bear false witness on his mother’s grave? Did he just say that his mother, devout Catholic Jean Biden née Finnegan, told him,
“Joey, if you came to me when you were thirteen years old and told me you were a really girl and you wanted to remove your testicles to block puberty, it would be a sin for me to not enable you. You think I’m kidding, but it’s no joke! If I prevented you from removing your testicles it would put a black mark on my soul. I would have to go my priest and confess, do an act of contrition and penance to receive absolution for my sin against you, my son.”
This is the same mother who encouraged him to take on bullies and bloody their noses in defense of his masculinity so he could hold his head high in the neighborhood. Biden has a long career of quoting his parents to justify his fluid positions. Recently he quoted his father and said he has supported same sex marriage since 1961 because his father told him it was the right thing to do.
“I can remember exactly when my epiphany was, I hadn’t thought much about it to tell the truth, and I was a senior in high school and my dad was dropping me off. I remember, I was about to get of the car and I looked to my right and two well dressed me in suits kissed each other. I mean they give each other a kiss. And one went, it looked like he was headed [in one direction] to the Dupont building, and one looked like he was headed [in the opposite direction] to the Hercules Corporation building. And I will never forget, I turned and looked at my dad. He said, ‘Joey, it’s simple, they love each other. It’s simple.’ Now, I’m not joking. It’s simple they love each other.”
Of course his parents, long since deceased, could neither confirm nor deny whether they actually taught their young, impressionable Joey such bits of wisdom, or if he simply is fabricating these stories to lend a false sense of validation to his newest politically expedient positions. All we can do is take into account that his parents grew up during the Great Depression, lived through WWII and Korea, and were likely a product of their times. These were a generation not prone to being woke. It is highly unlikely that Jean Biden would have ever supported gender transitioning for children and teens. It is highly unlikely Joe Biden Sr. supported same sex marriage in the 1960s. You think I’m kidding, but not a joke. It’s for real, not hyperbole. It’s a fact.

Senator Mike Lee nearly managed to pin AG Merrick Garland in a recent hearing. While Garland danced around, giving a circular and dishonest answer as he always does, he slipped up and revealed an important truth.
“In 2022 and for the first couple of months of 2023, DOJ’s announced charges against 34 individuals for blocking access to or vandalizing abortion clinics, and there have been over 81 recorded attacks on pregnancy centers, 130 attacks on Catholic churches since the leak of the Dobbs decision, and only two individuals have been charged,” Lee categorically stated. “So, how do you explain this disparity by reference to anything other than politicization of what’s happening there?”
“[The] FACE Act applies equally to uh efforts to uh to um damage uh blockade um um um clinics whether uh um resource uh whether they are pregnancy resource center or whether they are an abortion center.” stammered Garland. “It applies equally in both cases and we apply the law equally.
“I will say you are quite right. There are many more prosecutions with respect to the blocking of the abortion centers,” Garland admitted just after lying under oath. “But that is generally because those actions are taken with photography at the time, during the daylight, and seeing the person who did it [Christians standing in the Light of Truth] is quite easy,” the attorney general explained. “Those who are attacking the pregnancy resource centers [Evil Doers who live in the Dark], which is a horrid thing to do, are doing this at night in the dark.”
He followed by saying, “these people who are doing this are clever and are doing it in secret,” [as Evil Doers behave].
To paraphrase, Merrick Garland stated that he applied the law “equally” and then said arresting Christians is simply easier because they are honest and forthright, while investigating violent pro-abortion terrorists requires actual work because they are trying not to get caught.
Which, of course, is a quarter-truth. Pro-Life entities have been subject to over 22 times the attacks and far more violence than Pro-Abortion entities since the SCOTUS leak of the Dobbs decision May of 2022, and subject to 17 times the criminal charges. That calculates out to, on a per crime basis, Pro-Life activists being prosecuted at nearly 400 times the rate as violent Pro-Abortion activists. 400 to 1 is the antithesis of equal application of the law. 400 to 1 is the very definition of religious persecution. Merrick Garland is a part of a police state that targets people in search of a crime. A police state that is profiling and hunting Catholics as domestic terrorists. At least the I.D.10.T. admitted abortion centers are, in fact, abortion centers, rather than “health” clinics. I bet that (%O$) never makes that mistake again.

The Biden administration has decided to authorize a mammoth ConocoPhillips oil project in Northwest Alaska, rejecting arguments from environmental activists who insist it will exacerbate climate change, according to people familiar with the matter.

He put a garrote around its neck and strangled it until it was dead… without providing an alternative. None at all… because no alternative exists. Fuel prices almost immediately doubled and that spurred rampant inflation, sending our economy into a recession and costing the average American family an estimated $4800 (average of $200/month in 2021 plus another $200/month in 2022) or more a year in additional household expenses compared to the day President Biden took office. Today the average is $780/month over Jan. 2021 ($9360 annually) and is continuing to grow. For all that, his policy did not significantly reduce America’s dependence on fossil fuels… because we have to eat and go to work no matter what fantasy world the president lives in.
The median household income in 2022 was $62,000, meaning that half of American families have lost at least 15% loss of their purchasing power compare to January 2021. That is a massive pay cut for America’s working poor. The federal guideline for poverty in a family of four in 2021 was $26,500. It is $30,000 in 2023. You see the problem, right? US credit card debt hit an all time record in February of 930.6 billion dollars. How long can the working poor last when they are paying their bills with smoke and mirrors?
Had Biden simply followed President Trump’s energy policies this would not have happened, but the Biden administration just had to do the exact opposite of everything Trump did. You name it: Crime, the border, the economy, energy… and look where we are now. The Willow oil project is too little too late. The damage is done.

I am baffled as to why detransitioners do not sue these “healthcare” providers for medical malpractice. You all know I am Catholic, and the priest sex abuse scandal that was exposed in the 1990s, with the following lawsuits by the victims, was painful and absolutely necessary in order to force contrition and penance upon the Church. The number of victims and damage done by a handful of clergy over scores of years absolutely pales in comparison to the number of victims and damage done by transgender proponents in the last fifteen years. Castrati aside, there has never been a case where a priest convinced a thirteen-year to voluntarily have their reproductive organs removed. Preadolescent male castration was outlawed in Italy in 1870 due to social justice pressures and Pope Pius X officially ended to use of Castrati in choirs in 1903. Unfortunately, the practice of castrating young boys has reemerged in Western Society in the name of Social Justice (not to be confused the aforementioned biblical understanding of social justice), except these boys will be forgotten when they reach adulthood rather than revered for their singing skills.
Capital Police officer, Brian Sicknick, died January 7th, 2021 after suffering two strokes. Despite what President Biden, and the media propaganda machine he is aligned with, has been saying for the last two years, he was not killed in the line of duty on January 6th. Rather, he went home to his family after a stressful day at work. As a matter of fact, no police officers died January 6th or from injuries obtained on January 6th. The only person who died as a direct result of the January 6th riot was air force veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was murdered by Capital Police lt. Michael Byrd. Of course he was exonerated. Byrd is black and Babbitt white, and convicting him would not have helped the chosen left-wing narrative about the January 6th protest.

In an introductory letter, he explained that its purpose is “to provide clarity on the Catholic Church’s teaching on gender identity theory.” He said the guidelines are offered as “a teaching and formation resource and also as encouragement and hope for everyone working with those dealing with gender identity issues.”
Archbishop Sample noted, “In the light of the Catholic faith, the human body is a gift, good and willed by God. Our bodies are part of the harmony of the created order, and our sexual difference is part of God’s self-revelation, as well as a sign of our ultimate calling: to give and receive love.”
He described gender identity theory as the belief that “one’s identity as a man, woman, or both/neither is based solely on subjective self-perception. … [Gender identity theory] separates ‘gender’ (man-ness and woman-ness and the masculine and feminine principles found in nature itself) from biological sex, rooting sexed identity in a dissociated self-perception rather than the body.”
